Name: Terror

Title: None

Generation: 3

Bot Type: Game Breaker

Status: Online

Information[]

Originally from the game URF, a game also developed by Reliance Games, in which his name was Stronghold, Terror is the newest Halloween-themed robot to be added yet. The first foreshadowing of him entering the Real Steel franchise were Ambush's Platinum-grade parts, which are Stronghold's, only repainted, the second foreshadowing was when Reliance Games added the pieces of Helios to Real Steel Champions in a limited-time event. He was added in october, 2019 and was later added to Real Steel HD (iOS) and Champions. He is one of the strongest bots in HD, and is just as strong as most Legends in Champions, however, he's the most powerful bot in WRB, being even stronger than Tri-Gore himself. He belongs to the WRB-II tier and can be bought in the event store with event currency. He is a superbot, which would explain his extreme power, and therefore can only be used in Versus or Events while connected to a WiFi source.

Appearance[]

Terror 002

As previously stated, Terror is a repaint of Stronghold, who is made to resemble a medieval knight. He has two "horns" on the top of his head, spikes on his shoulders and pointy/sharp-edged knee pads. He is mostly painted in black with red trimmings and yellow lights. His helmet and shoulder pads have Jack-O'-Lantern paint jobs and he has Halloween-themed designs throughout his body such as webs and skulls. Both of his hands are semi-open, probably to make it easier to hold the sword and his feet are kind of pyramid-shaped. In URF there's a stronger version of Stronghold called Siege Lord, whose pieces can be obtained when Helios is upgraded to Silver grade in RS Champions. Despite belonging to a lower tier, he's the only robot whose stats overpass Tri-Gore's in RS WRB. He also wields a giant flaming sword, which appears in his intro, specials, finisher and win moves, but disappears after performing them. He has appeared in all three Real Steel games and URF, but has not appeared in WRB 2 so far and it's unknown if he will.

Trivia[]

  • As Stronghold, he was painted mostly in blue with red lights,
  • Ambush's Platinum-grade parts (except for the head) belong to Stronghold/Terror.
  • His intro is a buyable move in RS Champions.
  • His parts can be used in the BYOR feature in RS HD, but not his moves.
  • He's the second robot to use a sword, the first one being Shinobi.
  • Just like ZeroG and Phantom, he doesn't have a nickname.
  • He's the only robot who's stronger than Tri-gore.
  • His intro move has a slight variation between RS HD and WRB/Champions, since in WRB/Champions he throws the sword and it lands right beside him; however, the sword never lands in HD.
  • There's a stronger version of Stronghold called Siege Lord, who was renamed Helios in Real Steel Champions.
  • If Helios was added to RS WRB, he'd probably be stronger than Terror.
  • It's possible that his name comes from "night terror", which is kind of like a nightmare, only much worse since night terrors make people wake up screaming.
  • While other Halloween-themed bots have skull/skeleton designs like Halloween Zeus, Fiend and Dreadlord, Terror is the second Halloween bot to have pumpkin designs, the first one being Hollow Jack.
  • He is much more reminiscent to the Headless Horseman than Hollow Jack.
